Shawn G. Hessing

Mr. Hessing was appointed to the Board in April 2008, and serves as Chairman. His term will continue until February 25, 2014. He received a bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University. He serves as Chief Financial Officer of Oak Hill Capital Partners in Fort Worth.

Michael Bernhardt

Mr. Bernhardt was appointed by Governor Perry to the Board in March 2010.  His term will continue until February 25, 2016. Mr. Bernhardt received his bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University.  He resides in WIchita Falls.

J. Kenneth Bryant

Mr. Bryant was appointed to the Board in March 2010, and currently serves as Secretary.  His term will continue until February 25, 2016. Mr. Bryant received his bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University.  He is president of the TLC Marketing Group.  He resides in Wichita Falls.

Tiffany D. Burks

Ms. Burks was appointed by Governor Perry to the Board in March 2010.  Her term will continue until February 25, 2016. Ms. Burks received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Sociology and her J.D. at Texas Southern University. 

Charles E. Engelman

Mr. Engelman was appointed by Governor Perry to the Board in April 2008.  His term will continue until February 25, 2014. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Petroleum Engineering.  Mr. Engelman lives in Wichita Falls.

F. Lynwood Givens, Ph.D.

Dr. Givens was appointed to the Board in April 2008 and was reappointed in 2012.  His term will continue until February 25, 2018.  Dr. Givens received his bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University and his master's degree and Ph.D. in Physics from The University of Texas, Austin.  He lives in Plano.

Jeff Gregg

Mr. Gregg was appointed to the Board in 2012 and His term will continue until February 25, 2018.  Mr. Gregg received his bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University.  He is a CPA with the firm of Davis, Kinard and Co., P.C. in Seymour.

Samuel M. Sanchez

Mr. Sanchez was reappointed to the Board in 2012. His term will expire February 25, 2018.  He received a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas Tech University in Lubbock and a J.D. from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth. Mr. Sanchez is an attorney with Cordell & Cordell, P.C. in Fort Worth.

Jane W. Spears

Ms. Spears was appointed to the Board in April 2008.  Her term will expire February 25, 2014.  She received a bachelor's degree in foreign languages from the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Spears lives in Wichita Falls.

Linda Aguilera

Ms. Aguilera was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve a one-year term as student regent beginning June 1, 2011.  Linda is currently pursuing a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Midwestern State University.  She resides in Wichita Falls.
